Reports to: Maintenance Manager Job Summary: The Parts Specialist is responsible for handling, organizing, and ensuring the availability of parts, materials, and components required for production. Essential Functions: • Monitor, track, and maintain accurate inventory of parts, materials, and components. • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts against purchase orders and specifications. • Organize and ensure that parts are properly issued to production staff in accordance with work orders • Collaborate with Management, Technicians, and production teams to ensure correct part availability. • Create purchase orders as required, working closely with the accounting department. • Identify shortages, backorders, or discrepancies and escalate as necessary. • Maintain an orderly and efficient parts storage system (bins, racks, labeling). • Assist in sourcing alternative parts or suppliers when needed. • Assure that all food grade grease and oils are properly stored • Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline parts management and reduce downtime.
