ReModern Builders LLC in Watertown MA is looking for a skilled carpenter to join our team. Job Summary : We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Carpenter Journeyman to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the carpentry field while working alongside other skilled professionals. Duties Assist in constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. Participate in flooring installation, siding application, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, and tile laying tasks. Help with remodeling projects by following blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients. Support the team in construction estimating by gathering necessary materials and understanding project requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency on the job site. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks while working with tools and materials. Qualifications 5 years of experience with carpentry skills such as framing, flooring installation, siding, trim carpentry, remodeling, cabinet installation, and tile laying is preferred. We will train additional skills, but a solid knowledge of general carpentry is required. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in carpentry work. Strong willingness to learn and take on new challenges. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when required. Spanish or Portuguese language skills are a plus. Good physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
