We are looking for a soil technician. The candidate will be responsible for soil testing on various size construction projects. There is an ever changing work schedule, with most hours worked during normal business hours, with some night, weekend, holiday, and overtime work to be expected. The candidate should be flexible, dependable, timely, and a quick learner. Must be able to do light physical work and sometimes climb ladders. You will be working along side DOT inspectors at times The technician will prepare reports and data sheets which must be submitted at completion of each job and may be called upon to perform various tasks at the discretion of the supervisor. If needed you can look up "soil proctor test" and "sand cone test" on YouTube to get a little bit of the job description but our testing is a bit easier and done in the field. MUST BE PROFESSIONAL AND A TEAM PLAYER. Requirements: The candidate must have a clean drivers license and own vehicle. Candidate must possess a smart phone. Experience is a plus but not necessary.
