ABOUT MANAGED MOVES We are a small and thriving local business that supports the 65+ community. We assist our clients through every step of the moving process from downsizing assistance, packing, moving, unpacking, and clearing out their former home for sale. We work closely with our retirement community partners in the Portland/Vancouver area to ensure a smooth transition for their new residents. We are seeking a dedicated Move Coordinator to provide essential support in the office. This role involves collaborating with the Office Manager & Estimators to schedule & arrange jobs, as well as educating our clients about our services. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who thrives in a dynamic but supportive work environment and enjoys working in a team-oriented setting. In this role, you would complete tasks such as: Answering phones & scheduling new clients Researching & verifying move details Preparing paperwork Fielding questions from current & prospective clients Self-directed administrative projects & project management This role demands a strong attention to detail and organization. QUALIFICATIONS Clean criminal background in the last 5 years Three years office administration & customer service experience and/or a combination of education and experience Strong attention to detail Comfortable with Mac computers, Google Suite, and the ability to learn new scheduling software A passion for serving the customer and developing a compassionate rapport with clients and senior community staff over the phone and email Demonstrated ability to return to a task after interruptions, often repeatedly Skilled at working both independently and in a small team environment A sense of urgency with a demonstrated ability to meet multiple concurrent deadlines Excellent communication skills and a calm demeanor, even in stressful situations Open to performance feedback and a sincere desire to deliver a positive outcome for our clients APPLICATION Required Documents for completing Application: · An updated resume or work history · A letter of introduction, cover letter, or statement of interest describing how your professional values, acquired skills, and work history are a good fit for this role. · References page Failure to submit any of the above documents will forfeit application. —— Note to applicants: Throughout the hiring process, the hiring team will explore each applicant’s personality fitness and aptitude for working closely with office team members.
