SharePosition: Yonder East Taproom Bartender Company: Yonder Cider Work location: Cashmere, WA (located inside the Sidestreet building) Full Time or Part Time: Hourly, Full and Part Time positions available Reporting to: Taproom General Manager About the Position Yonder East, our taproom in Cashmere, WA is seeking a hard-working and passionate individual to join our Cashmere taproom team as a Taproom Bartender. This is a part time hourly position (approx 16-30 hours/week). Weekend availability (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) is required. Taproom hours of operation are Tues-Thur 3-9pm, Fri-Sat 12-10pm and Sun 12-8pm. Hours will expand for the Summer. About Us Yonder Cider is a rapidly growing cidery based out of Wenatchee, Washington, with a taproom in Seattle, and soon-to-be taproom in Cashmere. Woman owned and established in 2020, we are currently distributed throughout Washington state, Oregon and Idaho. Picked and pressed in Wenatchee, Washington – the heart of Apple Country – we create cider that's as balanced, bright and complex as the land itself. Crafted using a blend of bittersweet cider apples and juicy dessert apples, our ciders are hardly simple, and never straightforward, but you can always count on them being interesting. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Provide excellent customer service Engage in relationship building with customers Speak knowledgeably and passionately about our companies and products Maintain a clean taproom environment Passion for ensuring our space is well-kept and an enjoyable space for all Work efficiently in a fast-paced work environment Maintain proper safety and cleanliness standards DESIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES: Knowledge of and interest in the craft cider and beer industries Positive, upbeat, and enthusiastic outlook and attitude Prior bar/restaurant/taproom bartending experience Exceptional customer service skills and a love for working with people Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Strong, reliable work ethic and self-motivated personality Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods of time Ability to move cases and kegs (both empty and full), and operate a hand truck COMPENSATION -- $18 per hour + tips HOW TO APPLY -- To apply for this position, please submit your resume and a cover letter to taproom-cashmere @yondercider.com with the subject line “Job Application: Yonder East Bartender”.
