This person will look after and shepherd our elementary age children ages 6 years to 8 years old. Helping them grow in their faith and relationship with Jesus in a safe, fun, and nurturing environment. Responsibilities Include: • Leading, planning, and organizing weekly Children’s Ministry lesson activities for elementary students. • Working closely with the Children’s Ministry Director and Upper Elementary School Director to develop safe, fun, age-appropriate activities • Assisting the Children’s Ministry Director in planning & coordinating special events, camps, and outreach opportunities. • Partnering with parents to encourage spiritual growth at home. • Creating a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment for children. • Some light clerical and office work Requirements: • Minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE ) units. • 1-2 years of experience working with children in children’s ministry, school, or childcare setting • Strong organizational and communication skills • A strong walk with Jesus • A heart and passion for sharing the love of Jesus with Children • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and parents * Ability to pass a background check Hours & Compensation • Part/time hours. 20-25 hours a week • Hourly Wage $20-22 per hour depending on experience If you are passionate about helping children discover God’s love and want to be part of a vibrant ministry team, we would love to hear from you.
