Role Overview We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Computer Qualification & Testing Technician to join the HQ team. In this role you will be responsible for executing and documenting qualification tests (hardware + software) that measure our products’ performance, reliability, and compatibility, and to verify that they meet the required standards. You’ll work closely with the Product Development and Software & Systems teams to identify issues early and help maintain our product quality and stability. Key Responsibilities Plan, set up, execute, and document hardware qualification tests for devices such as mini-PCs, RAM modules, SSDs, etc. Perform software/firmware compatibility, performance, and stress testing (boot-up, OS installation, firmware upgrades, driver compatibility, etc.) Maintain and follow detailed test procedures; ensure all steps are reproducible and traceable. Log all test results, failures, anomalies; determine root causes when possible. Use diagnostic tools, measurement equipment, and test benches to gather data. Work with Product Development and Software & Systems teams to reproduce issues, verify fixes, and update test suites accordingly. Maintain test hardware, OS images, and software tools, ensuring they are properly versioned. Assist with improving and optimizing test processes, tools, and documentation; suggest enhancements. Participate in design reviews or new product qualification phases. Assist in defining test requirements and criteria with cross-functional teams. Ensure test environment safety, integrity, and cleanliness; manage hardware lifecycle (aging, wear-out, etc.). Requirements Very strong attention to detail; ability to follow and write procedural steps precisely. Solid understanding of computer hardware: mini-PCs, RAM, SSDs, motherboards, storage, etc. Basic computer skills (Google Workspace, MS Office, or similar). Experience with software/firmware: OS installation/setup, firmware flashing/upgrading, driver issues. Ability to do basic troubleshooting when needed and escalate appropriately. Good documentation skills: maintain and update test plans, writing clear reports, logging defects. Experience using test & measurement tools (multimeters, chip flashing tools, perhaps oscilloscopes, or other diagnostic tools is a plus). Ability to manage multiple test setups simultaneously, maintaining consistency. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods. Authorized to work in the U.S. Availability to work on site in Vista, California Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. Flexibility to work overtime hours or off-hours as needed with proper compensation. Preferred Qualities Prior experience in hardware qualification, reliability testing, or QA in a similar product domain. Familiarity with version control of firmware/software. Experience with automated testing and/or scripting. Knowledge of standard testing tools for SSDs, RAM, thermal/voltage stress, etc. Background in cross-platform OSes (e.g. different Linux distros, Windows) and firmware/BIOS navigation and configurations. The Security Engineering Manager will lead the evolution of our cybersecurity engineering, architecture, and operations. This role bridges strategic and tactical domains – collaborate cross-functionally with IT and business stakeholders, oversee enterprise security architecture (both Cloud and on-prem), manage security engineering team, and optimize security operations (including an outsourced SOC). Ensure baseline security measures are implemented and monitored (e.g., hardening, patching, zero trust, segmentation). Manage integration and ongoing optimization of security tools (e.g., CSPM, CNAPP, IAM, PKI, DLP). Identity & Access Management (IAM) Lead the Security Engineering function responsible for Identity and Access Management Architect and enhance enterprise IAM strategy including RBAC, PAM, MFA, SoD, and JML lifecycle. Drive IAM policy creation and enforcement across service, privileged, and user accounts. Guide the definition of IAM operating models, access certification processes, and automation of identity governance. Security Operations & Incident Response Oversee day-to-day security operations including SOC management (outsourced), SIEM/SOAR (Microsoft Sentinel), EDR/XDR, and threat detection and response. Collaborate with the SOC to improve detection rules, reduce false positives, and ensure robust incident detection and response capabilities. Plan and oversee penetration testing, forensic analysis, and incident investigations. Governance, Risk, & Compliance Align security architecture and operations with regulatory frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CMMC, PCI-DSS, and GDPR. Partner with the GRC and Audit teams to ensure technical controls support broader compliance and risk. Coordinate with the GRC team to support policy development, risk assessments, and business continuity/disaster recovery planning. Requirements Physical Activities: The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb or crawl. Qualifications Experience: 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity with increasing leadership responsibility, with at least 4+ years direct people management in technical security teams. Extensive experience in security architecture, cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, M365), and enterprise security tools. Strong command of at least 3 of the following core security domains: IAM, SIEM, vulnerability management, network security, DevSecOps, and incident response. Experience leading or managing an outsourced SOC or MDR provider. Proven leadership in security engineering and operations in a hybrid (cloud/on-prem) environment. Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience. Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Advanced degree (e.g., MS in Cybersecurity) is a plus. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Azure Solutions Architect, or CEH. Experience with Microsoft Defender suite, Intune, Microsoft Sentinel, various IAM and Vulnerability Management Tools. Familiarity with security control frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, CIS). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to lead across functions and influence executive stakeholders. Experience in Zero Trust architecture and OT security a big plus. This role centers on the implementation of Juniper MX960 routers and the transition from MC-LAG to EVPN/VXLAN fabrics. This role will involve leading high-impact cutovers and migrations in a production environment, contributing to both hands-on implementation and network architecture design across a multi-overlay fabric. This is a hybrid position based out of Philadelphia, salary is in the 110-150k range. This is a 12 month contract with the possibility of extension. Responsibilities Lead the planning, prioritization, and execution of enterprise-scale Juniper router migrations (MX960 platform). Design and validate EVPN/VXLAN architectures with multiple overlays to ensure scalability, performance, and redundancy. Collaborate closely with the customer’s Network Engineering team to achieve seamless integration with minimal disruption during migrations. Configure, test, and deploy Junos OS across MX and EX platforms in production environments. Provide expert-level guidance on the migration from MC-LAG to EVPN, including design validation, testing, and troubleshooting. Develop and maintain detailed documentation for network designs, cutover strategies, and post-migration processes. Serve as a subject matter expert for Juniper routing, EVPN/VXLAN fabrics, and advanced routing protocols. Support after-hours cutovers and provide escalation assistance during critical events. Requirements 7+ years of experience as a Network Engineer in enterprise or large data center environments. 5+ years of hands-on experience with Juniper MX and EX platforms. Strong knowledge of core routing protocols, particularly BGP and OSPF. Proficiency with Junos OS configuration and troubleshooting in production environments. Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale router replacement or network migration projects. Familiarity with EVPN design, deployment, and operations.
