Job Summary This position is for a Cashier role at a country market and gas station. A Cashier will open or close the store and help guide summer seasonal staff to better serve our community. This job is full time, with many opportunities for overtime in the summer. This position would be 4 10s or 5 8s. Summary of Responsibilities Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Operate a cash register with accuracy Stocking and merchandising groceries on the shelves and in the coolers. Prepare deli foods, espresso and ice cream cones. Maintains regular and punctual attendance Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual event Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues. Supports summer seasonal workers in training Clean food prep area, store shelves and restroom. Fill propane tanks.
