I’m Josh, a 40-year-old C4–5 quadriplegic living in Potomac with my wife and kids. I’m looking for a reliable and kind male caregiver for a consistent long-term role. Pay: $25/hr + bonuses (average yearly earnings $70k+). Schedule: Fixed 2-week rotation (avg ~59 hrs/week). Includes overnight shifts (7 PM–9 AM) and one day shift (Wed, 9 AM–7 PM). Duties include: transfers with Hoyer lift, range of motion, pressure reliefs, bathing, grooming, incontinence assistance, light housekeeping, and support with daily living. Prior home care or SCI experience is welcome but not required — training is available. You are: dependable, patient, communicative, hard-working, and comfortable around kids. Must be a non-smoker with reliable transportation.
