Responsibilities Qualifications Qualifications: • CDL Class A required • Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required • 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years • 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents • In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency. • Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required. • This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others. Pay Earn activity-based pay at $0.65 per mile, $12.81 per drop and hook, $7.96 for fueling, and $31.74 per hour of detention pay. Drivers average $85,000 per year and $1,700 per week. This operation is currently offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus! Schedule Be home daily with a five-day workweek, receiving time off on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Drivers might be required to cover a potential layover only 1 night out during the week. Drivers will serve as a floater to cover vacations and extra loads. Normally, shifts start between 12-2 p.m., lasting between 10-12 hours. When covering for vacations, we're looking for drivers flexible with filling in on our 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. shifts. Cooper St in Arlington. Monday and Friday MORNINGS only. Start time 9:30am. Takes an average of 2 hours each time. The pay is $110 per week. 4. Janitorial porters needed in the Plano, Murphy and McKinney areas. Day weekends and evening hours are available. The rate of pay is $13 per hour. This position entails being on site to clean up spills, wipe tables, refresh restrooms and light janitorial work. Average number of hours per week, 20 to 25. Start within 24 hours after interviewing if selected. Pay is every two weeks by direct deposit. Contract labor rates of pay, no taxes or SS taken out.
