Hi there! This is a weird job... I'm putting on a magic show in Portland next year, and I need a producer. There are lots of details and minutia to figure out. Venues to contact, contracts to keep track of, and tons of other logistics. I'm a somewhat famous magician, and it is going to be a really fun show to be a part of. Unfortunately I'm not a juggler: I drop the ball a lot! Which is why I need you. I frequently miss important emails and fail to reply to people in a timely manner. If you can reply to people promptly (and pester me if I don't reply to you!) Love solving impossible logistical (and magical) problems, and have some theater/production background, I'd love to talk to you. Mostly remote, but occasional co-working in SE Portland. Qualifications: • FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (required). • Must own or have access to any DJI brand drone that is capable of filming in 4K D-log 10-bit resolution up to 60 frames per second or higher. Must have capabilities to fly up to 1000m to cover the full scale of the communities. Acceptable Drone models include DJI Air 3, DJI Air 3s, DJI Mavic 3, classic, Pro, DJI Mavic 4, Pro, DJI Inspire 2, DJI Inspire 3. Any other model must be approved. • Must have Batteries to be able to film for the full 8-10 hours. • Media storage provided. • Proven experience operating drones for photography and videography (portfolio required). • Knowledge of aerial cinematography, camera settings, and lighting techniques. • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to frame engaging shots. • Excellent communication and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and travel to various property sites. • Must have reliable transportation. In need of a PA for a short and small scale horror film shooting in West Seattle and NorthBend on 9/20 - 9/21. Duties will include running for supplies, carrying equipment and gear, and assisting with any other production needs during production. Production days will be 4-5 hours long (excluding travel). Camera and sound experience a plus.

I Direct and DP a 3-camera Baking Show and Podcast a few times every month and am looking for an AC/DIT/Cam Op to join the team. Duties include setting up the cameras (including the classic overhead shot), setting up Aputure lights and modifiers, and also operate the static ACAM while monitoring the lav mic. I'd also need this person to organize the footage from the shooting day on a hard drive according to the particular recipe and then upload the footage to a server online after we wrap. The hours are usually 6-8 hours per day (podcast days are maximum 6 hours) and we have 3-4 shoot days every month. It is an ongoing project. Must be familiar with Sony FX3, FX30, FS7, Canon C series cameras, and Blackmagic BMPCC6K cameras and all codecs and settings! Prep materials, handle shipments, and make sure projects aren’t held up waiting for parts. Set up, run, and maintain cameras, lights, audio gear, and support equipment (GH5s, GoPros, C-stands, the works). Shoot videos and thumbnails that look great and tell the story. Offload and organize footage (DIT) so nothing gets lost. Anticipate what’s needed for upcoming projects and shoots. Keep things moving smoothly on set—hauling gear, troubleshooting problems, or just making sure the right tool is at hand. Document builds and shop processes so the team can stay organized. What We’re Looking For: A background in engineering, fabrication, or tech (formal or self-taught—we don’t care as long as you can do the work). Experience with video production, particularly for YouTube, is a big plus, but curiosity and willingness to learn matter more. Comfortable with both shop tools and camera gear, and ready to pick up new skills fast. Organized and detail-oriented—you notice problems before they become disasters. A self-starter who can also collaborate well with a small team. Deep curiosity and a drive to learn—whether it’s mastering a new tool, figuring out how a machine works, or picking up new production skills on the fly.
