Never used. --Bed put together to stage bedroom for sale of home during Estate Sale (our GA mtn 2nd lodge - recently sold). --Ad is for furniture Frame only - Mattress set in photo sold, as did home. Now stored in our home here - can't use. --Local GA craftsman made mountain furniture sold in GA. Cherry tree wood has its own unique characters. They grow curvy, out of shape, nothing is typical or uniform in appearance (Note photos). These Bed Frame posts show just that. Well put together. Each post, picket, rail, or section has its own look. You can choose the footboard and headboard sections as to either side that you wish to be displayed. There is no wrong side or wrong end, all in how the display looks to you when assembled. Further, either section (foot or head) can be displayed as the Headboard, due to both being very near to the same in height or appearance design. As such, you can not get exact diameters in any measurements, due to the varied growth over the many years and out-of-round cut wood. The following measurements apply in general....each post leg is slightly different than its mate: Measurements: Posts top and bottom ends (each end, all post) range from 6-8"Dia. Post Lengths (all 4 post) range from 42-46"H. Mattress Height: Adjustable higher or lower from current position based on where metal bed rails are installed.
