Black Lab needs a home (Houston)

I found Duke at the spca in 2021, they said he was 9yrs old, he’s 85 pounds, and he’s great dog, house broke, never makes a mess, he’s really chill, but he also likes to play and run a little. Anyway, I’m in a predicament. I’m losing my house, I lost my job, I wrecked my car. I’m moving into a small assisted living apartment complex and they have a 25 pound weight limit on their pet policy. I don’t want to take him back to the shelter so hopefully you guys have a place in your heart to give him a good home.
