Skilled Plumber Needed (Tampa Area)
We are a small business in Tampa, FL, looking for growth. We are looking for general plumbing experience or basic maintenance skills from a candidate. We provide comprehensive commercial, industrial, and emergency repair plumbing services. We are the experts on drain maintenance and clearing, lift stations and pumps, leak detection and mitigation, water heater installation and repair, full and partial plumbing remodels, new construction, industrial operations. We service many of the commercial parks and office buildings in the Tampa area.
A Plumbing/Maintenance specialist repairs individual water systems or large water facilities. This job position monitors, diagnoses, maintains, and repairs water leaks, water shortages, sewage, and pipe systems. They must have knowledge of repair and skill in maintenance. He/She handles installation, prepares needed equipment and machinery, and ensures that they are always in place. A skillful mindset and extensive knowledge in the field is the key.
Must have a clean driver's license
Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade
Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices
Ability to read and follow blueprints and rough drawings
Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper
Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to follow up on jobs when needed
Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficiency in basic mathematics and conversion of measurements
