EXPERIENCED CARPENTER / SHOP FOREMAN (Maspeth)

Location: Maspeth, Queens, NY Job Type: Full-time Industry: Custom Millwork & Fabrication About Us: Yellow Factory USA is a new and growing millwork shop located in Maspeth, NY, specializing in high-quality architectural woodworking. We take pride in delivering precision-crafted products and services to our clients. Our team is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. We are seeking an experienced Carpenter or Shop Foreman to join our dynamic team and help run the daily operations of our millwork shop. This position is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team from the ground up and grow with the company. Health insurance is offered after a 90-day probationary period. Key Responsibilities: Oversee production process, from purchasing materials to final product, and ensuring timely completion. Supervise shop personnel and ensure adherence to project plans and specifications. Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and design plans. Organize and delegate tasks efficiently. Manage multiple jobs simultaneously. Maintain a safe and organized work environment while meeting project deadlines. Collaborate with project manager to ensure client satisfaction. Perform quality checks and troubleshoot installation issues as they arise. Qualifications: Proven experience in a supervisory role within a millwork or woodworking environment. Strong ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints and technical drawings Expertise in installing custom millwork with a focus on precision and craftsmanship. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team. Knowledge of tools, techniques, and materials specific to high end millwork and installation. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; ability to travel within the NYC area. NYC SST and OSHA 10/30 certified.
