Parts & Maintenance Manager (Visalia)
The Parts & Equipment Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the parts inventory, procurement, and equipment fleet maintenance operations to ensure efficient equipment performance and minimal downtime. This role manages maintenance schedules, supervises mechanic shop staff, and ensures the availability of necessary parts and supplies. The manager also works closely with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to optimize costs, improve processes, and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Parts Management
o Oversee inventory of parts, tools, and supplies to ensure accurate stock levels.
o Develop and maintain vendor relationships to secure competitive pricing and reliable supply.
o Implement systems for ordering, tracking, and auditing parts usage.
o Monitor stock rotation to minimize obsolescence and reduce waste.
• Maintenance Management
o Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
o Ensure all equipment and facilities are maintained in safe, working condition.
o Develop and implement maintenance procedures and best practices.
o Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service histories, and compliance documentation.
• Team Leadership
o Supervise, train, and support maintenance and parts staff.
o Assign daily tasks and monitor performance to ensure efficiency and quality.
o Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Safety & Compliance
o Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and company safety standards.
o Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify risks and corrective actions.
o Maintain proper documentation of compliance and safety programs.
• Reporting & Budgeting
o Develop and manage departmental budgets for parts, labor, and equipment.
o Provide regular reports to senior management on performance and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in maintenance management, parts inventory control, or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical practices.
• Adept in the utilization of spreadsheets, Xcel, PDF.
• Proficient in the use of computer’s, email, and other related technology.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership experience with the ability to coach and develop teams.
• Strong professional communication and vendor negotiation skills.
