Drummer Available for Subbing or Joining Band (rohnert pk / cotati)

UPDATED: Sep 15, 2025 I'm available for subbing and possibly joining another band. I've done some paid pickup gigs from this post, and the band leaders seemed to be pleased with my contributions. A few details: • I currently perform 3-4 times each month with three different acts (rock cover band, country quartet, jazz trio). I have time for other projects if you don't mind these existing commitments which are usually booked months in advance. • I can learn challenging material if given enough time to woodshed, and make flow charts for some tunes. • I have a decent resume (Rick Hatfield, George Cole, Gator Beat, Decker Brothers Band, Ian Michaels Band, The Remedies, Mark Isham, Glenn Phillips, Mel Martin and more), solid timekeeping, good chops, three drum sets, and reliable transportation. • I can play medium loud to very quiet, but I am not a heavy hitter. (I have a 6-channel Behringer board and five mics that I use when more volume is needed.) • If it makes any difference, I am in my 60s, but look younger (see recent business head shot). • I listen to about 17 different genres and like a lot of newer artists that most people my age dismiss. • I value mutual respect, transparency and camaraderie with band members. • Depending on the situation, I can rehearse up to 45 mins from my home in Cotati, especially if drums are already there.
