We supply everything you need—food, supplies, medical care—and offer a monthly stipend in return for your time, commitment, transportation, and quality care. WE ARE SPECIFICALLY LOOKING FOR A FOSTER FOR OUR DOG BRUCE. AN 8 YEAR OLD ENGLISH/AMERICAN BULLDOG MIX. HE JUST COMPLETED 2 MONTHS OF BOARD AND TRAIN. BRUCE IS A SWEET LOVEABLE GUY BUT HE IS DOG REACTIVE ON LEASH AND DUE TO HIS SIZE AND STRENGTH WILL NEED A STRONG HANDLER THAT CAN CONTROL HIM AND GUIDE HIM. HE WILL DO BEST IN A HOME WHERE THAT PROVIDES HIM STRUCTURE AND ROUTINE. HE CANNOT BE IN A HOME WITH CHILDREN - NO CATS - AND STRONGLY PREFER NO DOGS. AT BOARD AND TRAIN HE WAS SUCCESSFUL AROUND OTHER CALM DOGS WHO GAVE HIM SPACE BUT WE WOULD PREFER THAT HE IS IN A HOME WITH NO PETS TO SET HIM UP FOR SUCCESS. HE IS A SPECIAL DOG WHO REALLY NEEDS SOMEONE WHO KNOWS THE BREED AND CAN WORK WITH HIM. MONTHLY STIPEND FOR BRUCE IS $400. This is not a job—it’s a meaningful way to change a life. What We Need From You: ✅ Age: 21+ ✅ Home Environment: NO SMALL DOGS, CATS, or SMALL CHILDREN. Most of our dogs are large (60–100 lbs), so you must be comfortable with big dogs. ✅ Commitment to Events: Be available to bring your foster dog to Petco in West Hollywood every other Saturday for adoption events and to pick up supplies. ✅ Vet and Meet & Greets: Be able to take the dog to vet appointments and meet potential adopters. ✅ Household Approval: Everyone in your home must agree to fostering. If you live in a rental, please make sure your building or house is PET FRIENDLY and allows dogs. ✅ Time Commitment: Minimum four-week commitment preferred. Short-term fostering helps, but long-term fosters truly make the biggest impact!
