We’re currently seeking a caregiver “Personal Assistant” who will support a woman who lives in her own apartment in SE Portland and experiences developmental disabilities. She is a friendly, charming woman that likes to access the community. She is eager to work with a “Personal Assistant” who will value time spent in the community as well as downtime in the home. Together, you will enjoy shopping at Walmart, getting coffee, and going out to her favorite lunch spots. You will also work together on household chores, cooking, attending medical appointments, and running errands. She needs substantial assistance with showering, dressing, taking medications, shopping and cooking, physical therapy, and using adaptive equipment. You'll work two shifts per week totaling 42 hours: 8pm on Monday to 5pm on Tuesday and 4pm on Wednesday to 1pm on Thursday.. *You’ll also work your regular hours on Agency holidays.
