I’m seeking a part-time administrative assistant/Girl or Guy Friday, to help run my affairs. I am a 72-year-old retired executive who has varied activities (business and personal) that need someone to plan and execute. Accounting and bookkeeping experience would be necessary, but nothing complicated. The person will maintain my correspondence. Some experience with typing, WORD, and Excel is necessary; likewise internet and email.but I am willing to provide on-the-job training for the right candidate. The person will catalog and file records and reports, and keep track of household expenses. This person must manage my calendar and make travel plans. The person will have to handle more mundane assignments like driving me in my car to doctor’s visits, supervising contractors, and light shopping. The person must be dependable, on time, and neat. I am looking for someone who is a quick learner, has a good memory, and can make decisions quickly. The ideal candidate would thrive in a very dynamic environment. I will provide a laptop and all necessary supplies, including high-speed internet. You will work in a separate area in my townhouse in the Buckhead area near the intersection of I-75 and W. Paces Ferry. The work environment is pleasant. The starting salary is $22.50hr. I will reimburse you for any travel expenses incurred. I can be very flexible about days, dates, and times as long as the work gets done. The starting work week would be between 16 and 20 hours, 4 days per week. A background check will be required.
