Nice HP 5384A. Pictures show it working at various input frequencies, note that it will count to 250MHz (or higher) even though it is only spec'd to 225MHz. I did feed it a decent signal, ~50mV RMS, it might not meet the spec for low-level inputs once you get above 225. The 10MHz picture shows it counting a 10.00000000MHz signal from a Rubidium frequency standard. This unit only has a plain (non-OCXO) internal reference, so if you need more accuracy than shown I would recommend feeding it an external reference. Yes, I did also test the external ref input.
