Sense & Sound LLC is a Los Angeles based studio design and installation company. We design, manufacture, install, and calibrate professional and private audio studios using proprietary acoustic products and systems. https://www.sense-sound.com We’re looking for motivated, detail oriented individuals to join our team in manufacturing and installation. You’ll help produce and install our custom acoustic panels and studio hardware used by engineers, producers, and composers. Responsibilities in the workshop: * Cutting parts using knives, cordless drills, pneumatic staplers, and palm sanders * Assisting in final assembly and moving completed products to stock * Loading materials in, and products out Responsibilities on installations: • Loading/unloading • Mounting and suspending acoustic panels • Setting up lasers for precise placement • Performing careful, detail-oriented installation work • Navigating environments full of expensive equipment You’ll be working with materials such as plywood, luan, pegboard, soundboard, fiberglass, wood glue, and spray adhesive. Position Details • Schedule: Part time (3–4 days per week), with potential to grow into full time • Training: Provided and paid for at minimum wage • Pay: Starting at $18/hr during training, progressing to $20/hr with demonstrated proficiency. Pay will continue to increase in alignment with your accountability, reliability, and ability to work independently without supervision.
