Position: Lead Carpenter (North Seattle) Compensation: Competitive wage DOE $30 - $40/hr Employment Type: full-time Who You Are: Self-starter with strong work ethic & ambition who is eager to work the construction business from A-Z. You have the aptitude and desire to learn new skills, follow instructions, take initiative, and lead by example. Who We Are: Sole proprietor* of a residential construction company located in North Seattle with over 20 years industry experience. We do all types of home construction from kitchen, bathroom, and basement remodeling and maintenance to full and/or partial additions. Our reputation for high quality, honest work speaks for itself and has earned us the valued trust of all our home owners. What We Need: Experience and knowledge in the home construction field. Confidence working alone or with little hand holding. Must be a responsible, team player with a positive attitude who takes pride in his/her work while demonstrating a strong attention to detail. We can provide the tools if needed. Primary Responsibilities: • Ability to take on projects independently and/or work with others • Diverse skill set to include a wide range of remodeling/construction skills such as: Drywall hanging and taping, Insulation, Light Framing, etc. • Must have a good understanding of all hand tools including chop saws and table saws • Know how to safely operate the tools and equipment necessary in construction Requirements: • Reliable cell phone • Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs. and carrying the weight at least 100 yards • Able to climb a 16-foot ladder and comfortable working off the ground • Supply your own standard hand tools is a plus, yet it is not an absolute requirement • Capable of working both inside and outside • Location: Seattle with 90% of jobs in the Seattle/Shoreline/North Seattle area If interested please go to our website to apply ---->>> www.amlinhomerepair.com/careers
