Sheltering Arms LLC is looking for compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join our team. DSPs provide essential support to individuals with disabilities, helping them to live as independently and fulfilling lives as possible. **IMPORTANT YOUR BACKGROUND CHECK WILL BE DONE BOTH BY DOJ & FBI, IF YOU HAVE DUI AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IN THE RECORD, PLEASE DON'T APPLY** Responsibilities: Provide (minimal) support with activities of daily living (ADLs). Assist with medication administration and other medical tasks Help individuals to develop and achieve their personal goals Provide transportation and other community integration services Maintain accurate documentation and reporting. Some of the residents need minimal help in daily living (ADLs), such as dressing, grooming etc. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license Compassionate and patient personality Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently but must be a team player. Good listening skills and act as needed. Must have patience to work with the intellectual disabilities residents.
