





Pay: From $68,000.00 per year About us: Chicken Fried Palace is a vibrant, casual dining spot in the heart of the Mission District, celebrating the spirit of a classic diner with a West Coast twist. We're looking for an enthusiastic General Manager to lead out team and ensure our guests always leave happy and well-fed. Position Overview: The General Manager will be the cornerstone of daily operations. This role includes overseeing all front-of-house activities, maintaining high standards of service, and creating a welcoming environment for both staff and guests. Responsibilities: Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service. Train and oversee all front-of-house staff to ensure top-notch service and a friendly atmosphere. This includes, but is not limited to, teaching them about our menu items and ensuring they can confidently explain dishes and drinks to guests. Handle inventory control and ensure proper stock levels are maintained. Implement food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations. Utilize POS systems (Toast POS, Micros POS) for order processing and cash handling. Conduct interviews and hire new team members as needed. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any issues or concerns promptly. Coordinate shift management to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours. Execute payroll duties accurately and manage administrative tasks to keep the business on track. Develop and manage budgets, optimizing costs while maximizing service quality. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant environment. Foster a positive and happy work culture and environment, leading by example and ensuring team morale is high. Requirements: Light to proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry. Experience with inventory control and budgeting processes. Familiarity with various POS systems (Toast POS, Micros POS) is preferred. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and develop staff effectively. Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills. Background in fine dining or casual dining environments is advantageous. Knowledge of hospitality management principles and practices is beneficial. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
