As an Integrated Communications Intern: You’ll gain experience in PR, social media and influencer marketing across different industries and learn how these areas work together to create effective communication strategies for clients. You’ll assist in writing pitches, press releases, blogs, bylines and social media posts. You’ll help source influencers, build media lists and pitch stories to media. You’ll support tracking media coverage, keep an eye on important metrics like impressions and engagement and assist in creating client reports. You’ll help with sending products to media outlets and influencers for reviews or promotions, ensuring everything gets to the right place on time. You’ll participate in team and client meetings, helping to organize agendas, take notes and send action items to keep things on track. You’ll keep team trackers and project dashboards updated so everyone knows the status of ongoing work. You’ll assist with researching competitors, target audiences and industry trends to give the team insights that can improve campaigns and strategies. You’ll gain insight into industry best practices and participate in training sessions to develop a deeper understanding of PR, social media and influencer marketing. Role Title: Head of Communications Role Nature: Volunteer Location: Home-based The Blockchain & Climate Institute (BCI) is an international volunteer-led think tank, with 160 volunteers from around the world, supporting and advocating the application of blockchain technology in the global fight against climate change.
