Stevie Ray Vaughan "Lenny" Stratocaster COPY/TRIBUTE One of those most recognizable Stratocasters of all time. This is a COPY/TRIBUTE of the Stevie Ray Vaughan "Lenny" Stratocaster. The story of the original guitar is that it was a 1965 Stratocaster that was heavily modified and hanging in a pawnshop in Austin. SRV's wife Lenora and a few friends purchased it as a birthday gift and it soon became one of his most beloved guitars. The lore increased from there - the neck was changed to a a Strat neck that was a gift from ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons, and the back of the body was signed by baseball legend Mickey Mantle at a Houston Astros game where SRV played the National Anthem and had Mantle, who was a guest of honor sign the guitar. This guitar is super inexpensive and fun to play and it looks great hanging on the wall. Looks the same from a distance as the $15k-$30k Fender Masterbuilt Tributes. Price has been lowered multiple times and is fair and firm .
