EGNATOR RENEGADE HEAD & CAB - $1,200 (Lake Ridge)

This is without a doubt, the coolest amp I have ever owned...and I've gone through a lot of them. I really hate to sell it, but my gigging days are over and I'll never use it again. Two channels with independent EQ, bright and tight switches, and a power selector switch between 18 Watts and 65 Watts. I don't know what's in the cab, but there are two 12's in there that sound fat, clean, sweet and punchy. This amp runs 2 6L6's and 2 EL34's...with a selector switch that you can use to "balance" the sound between just using the 6L6's or the EL34's...or both. Incredible! The four button footswitch controls more than just the channels...you can engage the reverb, effects loop, and SECONDARY master volume with channel-assigning switches for all three. That secondary master volume switch is REAL handy if you find you're volume is a bit low when jumping into your solo...just hit the switch and you'll bump up to whatever you have preset on the face controls. The design of this amp is a dream. Of course, the company is out of business so you can't buy them anymore, but I did have "Bruce" do some work on this amp for me. He's in Michigan and is still plunking around with electronics. And he's still very proud of his amplifiers. Not only does this amp LOOK cool...but it's just fantastic to play through. I used it for a couple of live gigs, but mostly for in studio recording. Comes with the foot switch, covers for both cab and head, and owner's manual. Amp is in excellent, like new condition.
