APPLY HERE WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH Operate heavy equipment such as skid steers, loaders, excavators to assist with loading and moving materials (e.g., sand, gravel, aggregate). Assist in maintaining equipment by performing routine checks, cleaning, lubricating, and ensuring machinery is in good working condition. Perform general labor tasks as needed, including digging, lifting, loading, unloading, and clearing debris from work areas. Monitor and ensure safe material handling, following proper procedures for loading, unloading, and transporting materials around the quarry. Assist with site preparation for construction projects by grading, leveling, and clearing the land for various operations. Follow safety guidelines and work closely with other team members to ensure compliance with safety regulations, including MSHA standards. Perform basic maintenance on equipment and report any issues or malfunctions to the maintenance team or supervisor. Help with daily setup and teardown of equipment, ensuring tools and machinery are in place for the next shift. This role will ensure equipment is properly prepped, packed, loaded, and returned in good condition, and will be the final checkpoint before projects head to jobsites. Key Responsibilities: Manage warehouse staff (once hired), assign tasks, schedules, and performance reviews. Oversee shipping/receiving, truck loading, driver scheduling, and fleet compliance. Maintain inventory accuracy, track new and repaired equipment, and ensure gear is show-ready. Enforce safety standards and operational efficiencies to reduce overtime, re-rentals, and errors. Hold a valid Class B CDL and step in as a driver when needed. Report directly to the General Manager and collaborate with project managers and production teams. Qualifications: Prior experience in warehouse or logistics management, preferably in live event production. Strong leadership, time management, and problem-solving skills. Working knowledge of event production equipment. CDL Class B (Illinois) required. Schedule & Compensation: This is not a standard 9–5 role; hours depend on event needs.
