As an Aerial Lineman, you will support overhead construction and repair of RF and fiber service. You take pride in doing the job right, being the best, and tackling challenges head-on.
In this role, you will:
• Work on the Wireline side of Telecom to install and repair backbone aerial telecommunications cable
• Perform all duties in telecommunications construction (ie. pole transfers, maintenance builds, new build, cable installation, over lash, and strand construction)
• Use gaffs, extension ladders, or a bucket truck for installation, relocation, and maintenance of aerial plant
• Read and interpret schematics and construction prints
• Troubleshoot field issues as they arise
• Collaborate with your team on new and exciting projects
• Maintain a consistent schedule with opportunities for overtime and on-call pay
About You
• Safety is always your priority
• You bring at least 1-2+ years of Lineman experience, with strong aerial equipment knowledge
• You’re comfortable in a bucket truck, gaffing, and on 28'+ ladders
• You take pride in delivering quality work and are looking for long-term projects with stability
• You enjoy hands-on work and collaborating with your team
• You have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record (Past 3 years)
• You can obtain a DOT Medical Card (CDL preferred)
Compensation of $24-$35 per hour, depending on the experience.
