Yard Supervisor Role: Full-Time Employment With Benefits We are New City Moving LLC, Chicago’s largest and most acclaimed independent moving company, as well as one of the largest single independent moving branches in the United States.  We are currently accepting candidates to join our team for the Yard Supervisor position.  The yard supervisor is in charge of maintaining order amongst the three yards that we occupy. General Duties: - Making sure people are following company rules. - Ensuring the yards are kept clean and that all company property is accounted for during each shift. - More specific duties include directing material handlers - Performing check-in/check-out procedures with crews - Reporting vehicle issues to the fleet team - Assisting with material distribution - Maintaining a spreadsheet of data regarding materials This position is in frequent communication with the dispatchers, the branch fleet manager, as well as personnel at our corporate office. Requirements: - The right individual must speak fluent English. - Excellent attention to detail. - Valid driver’s license. - lift up to 50lbs - Basic knowledge of how to navigate Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. - Work a semi-firm schedule of flexible shifts. Those with previous experience in security, law enforcement, education, and those with the ability to also speak fluent Spanish will be given extra consideration.
