Basic cleaning skills, including vacuuming carpets, mopping floors and bathrooms, are typically the most important skills for a commercial cleaner. Operation of floor buffers and walk behind floor scrubber. Knowledge of cleaning procedures and practices preferred. Knowledge of safety practices and working safely. Good understanding of cleaning supplies and chemicals. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with the ability to understand verbal and written instructions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Must pass a drug test, MVR, and background screening when required. General technical skills, such as typing or using a smartphones.
