This Account Clerk II position sits in the In-Home Support Services (IHSS) Division of the Human Services Department (HSD). They are primarily responsible for reviewing and adjusting transactions and accounts, and authorizing payments in compliance with established procedures, regulations, and record keeping practices. Additional responsibilities include: • Providing excellent customer service, including answering phone calls from clients and assisting with questions • Screening documents for accuracy and adherence to established requirements • Assisting with new provider enrollment by entering personal information accurately and timely into the IHSS database • Completing verifications from multiple sources (banks, apartment complexes, medical, and others) accurately per IHSS confidentiality policies • Answering provider questions regarding timesheets, pay period breaks, overtime, submitting timesheets, and paycheck tracking • Sorting and processing mail, and creating letters, forms, reports, memos, and notices • Assisting providers with various documents including tax, live-in provider, sick pay, and new provider forms • Corresponding with other County departments, external vendors, and the general public • Utilizing multiple databases and forms, including Payroll and Public Authority (PAPA), CMIPS, Provider Enrollment and Registry System (PEARS), Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel), Acrobat PDF, and others What We Offer Working at the County of Sonoma offers expansive opportunities for growth and development, the ability to be a part of a challenging and rewarding work environment, and the satisfaction of knowing you're working to better our communities. Landscaping Shop Supervisor (Sterling heights)
We are looking for an experienced shop manager to help us in the daily operations of our landscaping business. Daily duties would be to make sure all equipment is working properly, (sharpening blades for mowers, and hedge trimmers, fixing backpack blowers, weed whips and edgers, bed edgers, basically every power tool we use in the business), all equipment is accounted for daily, making sure all of our trucks are serviced properly and regularly, (oil changes, air filters, washer fluid, wipers etc. etc.) keeping the shop clean at all times, organization is a must. Also a good knowledge of snow removal equipment is a must too. We use Boss plows and Polaris Sportsman quads with plows in the winter so those need to be maintained as well. We also have skid loaders and an excavator. Those need maintenance too but for any large repairs we take them to Michigan Cat. Sometimes, you will be required to deliver material to job sites, pick up parts for supplies etc. etc. You need experience specifically in this industry. Great work ethic is an absolute must. Organization is a must. The applicant needs to be able communicate effectively with others. Valid drivers license is a must.
