We are seeking skilled Cable Technicians for a large-scale installation project. This role involves installing, terminating, and testing Cat6 Ethernet cabling, wireless access points, and related equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience with structured cabling systems and be comfortable working overnight shifts in a fast-paced environment. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: • Install, remove, and test Cat6 Ethernet cabling and wireless access points. • Pull, terminate, and label Cat6 lines according to project specifications. • Complete cable runs across large facilities (over 286,000 feet of cable). • Perform cable installation for approximately 586 feet of new runs. • Terminate and test 479 cable endpoints. • Ensure all terminations meet industry standards for quality and performance. • Work with team members to meet project deadlines and maintain safety standards. • Document installation work and provide updates to project supervisors. ⸻ Qualifications: • Previous experience as a Cable Technician or Installer (Cat6 and structured cabling). • Knowledge of cable pulling, termination, and testing methods. • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces if required. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. ⸻ Contract Details: • Pay Rate: $23.00 – $26.00 per hour (DOE). • Schedule: 40 hours per week (overtime after 40 hours). • Shift: Overnight, 7:00 PM – 6:00 AM. • Duration: 9-month contract role. • Project Size: 286,000 feet of cable; 586 feet of installation; 479 termination points. • Start Date: 9/8/25 Beginning December, transitioning to a 24x7 facility. ⸻ Work Environment: • Large-scale convention center environment. • Overnight shifts with exposure to varying conditions indoors and on-site. • Collaborative team-based project with strict timelines.

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and has the ability to effectively facilitate meetings. Experience working in dynamic environments around guest or facility activity. This role requires 10 years of experience in construction management on projects for construction, mechanical systems, interior renovations, upgrades or new fit-outs. Knowledge of eBuilder is preferred. Candidates with occupied renovation experience are preferred. Responsibilities and Duties Inspect and monitor on-site processes, procedures, and systems for compliance with construction drawings, security requirements, and code compliance. Lead construction management and owner’s representative duties across multiple projects. Provide on-site construction management duties during mobilization, site preparation, construction, fit-out, commissioning and occupancy phases. Provide support in project planning, procurement, design, management direction, project completion, client satisfaction, and financial outcome of assigned construction projects. Interface with clients to define project requirements. Review schedule and align project work plan and deadlines with requirements. Lead and manage the construction quality assurance process. Coordinate and monitor the completion of activities in all phases of the project life cycle. Monitor and oversee the project design or construction effort, to include but not limited to risk management, security and safety compliance, etc. Conduct comprehensive reviews of construction submittals and construction contract documents. Provide project administration and contract administration duties, including records management.  Generate well organized professional deliverables, including daily field reports. Assist the Owner with acquisition planning, technical reviews, execution, and administration. Collect requirements, prepare SOWs, and conduct market research, as appropriate. Provide technical support on a daily basis to all customers, manage electronic documents, serves as the liaison for stakeholders and customer groups, provide expertise, monitor security related issues, and maintain a coordinating relationship with the government agency, its clients, and external partners to include the architect-engineers, construction contractors, and other contractors supporting the government.
