REPORTS TO: Program Director JOB SUMMARY: The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will develop, implement, and oversee behavior support services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities within WCP's vocational training program. The BCBA will provide behavioral assessments, intervention plans, and staff training to support clients in achieving vocational success and community integration in alignment with Work Creation Program's mission. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or related human services field Current BCBA certification in good standing from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Valid California driver's license with acceptable driving record 2+ years of experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities Experience in vocational settings and/or employment support programs preferred Knowledge of California regulations related to IDD services and vocational programming Strong understanding of functional behavior assessment and positive behavior support strategies Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with data collection systems, Microsoft Office applications, and case management software Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire) Successful completion of background check and all required pre-employment screenings RESPONSIBILITIES: Behavioral Assessment and Support Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments to identify barriers to successful vocational engagement Develop individualized behavior intervention plans that support vocational skills acquisition and community integration Design and implement data collection systems to track client progress toward behavioral and vocational goals Regularly analyze behavioral data and modify interventions as needed to ensure effectiveness Collaborate with vocational trainers to integrate behavioral supports within vocational skill development Staff Training and Supervision Train direct support professionals and vocational trainers on principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and implementation of behavior support plans Provide ongoing supervision, coaching, and performance feedback to staff implementing behavioral interventions Conduct model teaching demonstrations and provide hands-on coaching in real work environments Supervise behavior technicians and provide required supervision hours for staff pursuing BCBA certification Lead regular team meetings to review client progress and address behavioral challenges Program Development Assist in developing vocational assessment tools that identify behavioral strengths and needs Collaborate in creating structured work environments that minimize behavioral challenges Recommend environmental modifications and accommodations that support client success Develop skill acquisition programs targeting social skills and workplace behaviors Contribute to program evaluation and continuous quality improvement initiatives Documentation and Compliance Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all assessments, interventions, and client progress Ensure all behavioral services meet applicable California regulations and funding requirements Complete all required case notes and reports within designated timeframes Participate in person-centered planning meetings and contribute to individual service plans Adhere to ethical guidelines established by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board Collaboration and Advocacy Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to ensure integrated service delivery Maintain regular communication with clients, families, and other stakeholders Participate in staff meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities Build positive relationships with community employers and vocational partners Advocate for effective behavioral supports in vocational and community settings WORK SCHEDULE: Full-time position (40 hours/week) Availability during program hours (8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Ability to move throughout various work environments including offices, classrooms, and community vocational sites Capacity to demonstrate vocational tasks and behavioral techniques as needed May require standing for extended periods when providing training Ability to respond to behavioral emergencies and implement crisis intervention procedures when necessary Travel to various program sites and community locations required COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan Professional development opportunities and support for continuing education requirements Positive and collaborative work environment focused on making a difference in clients' lives Work Creation Program, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender expression, age, national origin, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status in any of its activities or operations.
