Part-Time Resident Manager – Oakland (Lakeside/Lake Merritt) 🌟 We’re a San Francisco based property management company with over 30 years of experience, seeking a reliable Resident Manager for our Oakland property in the Lakeside/Lake Merritt neighborhood. This is a part-time, contracted role, and you must live onsite. Minimum Qualifications: -High school diploma or equivalent -Flexible schedule/availability and professional appearance -Strong communication and customer service skills -Tech-savvy and able to work in a fast-paced environment -Physically able to lift, bend, and move heavy trash/recycling containers -Basic maintenance skills Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): - Provide excellent customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors - Respond to all calls, voicemails, and texts in a timely manner - Conduct Move-In and Move-Out Walkthrough Inspections, with residents, by appointment - Ensure trash and recycling bins are placed out on time and returned promptly after service - General upkeep and cleaning of common areas and building exterior (supplies provided) - Work directly with the Leasing/Marketing Coordinator -- Prepare units for advertising - Host Open Houses or private tours periodically - Take marketing photos (training provided) and more - Work directly with the Oakland Maintenance Coordinator -- Verify vendor work is completed and report any issues promptly - Conduct monthly building inspections - Maintain key box organization - Report all maintenance needs using our online Maintenance Request form and more Preferred Qualifications (Not Required): -1+ year experience in sales, leasing, or customer service -Property Management or Resident Manager experience -Bilingual or multilingual -Strong organizational skills and attention to detail -Familiarity with building systems & shut offs Compensation: Resident Managers are required to live onsite and receive a percentage off their monthly rent, in addition to being paid hourly for all work performed.
