Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: Conduct Pre & Post Trip Inspection of truck Assists dispatchers and weighmasters by positioning carts in appropriate area and covering cart with plastic Loads clean linen into trucks, checking to ensure accuracy of load against delivery ticket Drives truck to specified customer locations and unloads clean linen carts, interacting with hotel staff Communicates customer concerns or complaints promptly to Production or Logistics Manager on duty Completes trip sheet to reflect all stops, number of carts delivered, and number of carts retrieved Report any and all mechanical issues, accidents and/or incidents involving drivers or company equipment Promptly report any delays to supervisor/manager relating to pick-up or delivery of load, (breakdowns, weather of traffic Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, and comply with all federal, state and local regulations for the safe operations of a commercial motor vehicle. Professional representation of the Company and the trucking industry through responsible driving and appearance Drivers must comply with all Customers’ safety and delivery requirements Ability to pass a DOT exam and drug test Qualifications and Minimum Requirements: Must possess a valid Commercial Class A or B Driver’s License High School Diploma (or equivalent) a must Effective written and verbal communication skills in English. Exceptional customer service is mandatory. Job Specific Skills: Minimum 2 years of experience driving a commercial truck Must be able to follow maps or directions to meet destination in a safe and efficient manner. Able to understand and complete basic math Work Hours: Morning or afternoon shift available May include working on the weekends or during Holidays. Physical / Mental Requirements: Assigned duties are accomplished primarily driving the truck and an industrial setting.  Able to operate truck lift gate and back-up trucks correctly and safely into tight places Able to push/pull cars loaded with linen weighing approximately up to 700 pounds May be at an industrial setting with heat/cold and distracting noise levels Job Location: 221 South Wakea Avenue #201, Kahului HI 96732 Wage Information: The wage is no less than $32.00 per hour. Our Company's pay period starts on a Sunday and ends on a Saturday. A single work week will be used to compute the wages due. Our payroll period is weekly, and workers are paid on the following Thursday after the end of the pay period. Rate increases and/or bonuses may be offered at the Company's discretion, based on individual factors such as performance, skill, and tenure. The Company will make deductions from the worker's paycheck as required by law. Workers may elect to participate in our benefits plans such as medical, drug, vision, dental, FSA and other voluntary insurance plans, in which a share in premium may be deducted. Any deductions will be preauthorized in writing.
