The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cannabis flower characteristics—including moisture content, leaf profile, and overall flower quality—and will be responsible for operating trimming machines with precision and efficiency. This role requires a commitment to quality control and the ability to work long hours in a noisy, dusty production environment. Key Responsibilities: Operate cannabis trimming machinery in accordance with safety and quality standards Monitor and adjust machine settings to optimize trimming quality and consistency Assess incoming flower batches for proper moisture content and trimming readiness Identify and preserve desirable flower characteristics while minimizing product loss Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of trimming equipment Conduct in-process inspections to ensure product meets established quality standards Communicate with supervisors and quality control personnel regarding batch performance or issues Accurately track trimmed product weights and production data Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment Follow all state, local, and company cannabis regulations and protocols Qualifications: Prior experience in cannabis processing, preferably with machine trimming equipment Strong knowledge of cannabis flower anatomy, moisture content, and post-harvest handling Familiarity with quality control practices in a production setting Ability to work efficiently with attention to detail Comfortable working in loud, dusty environments for prolonged periods Capable of standing, bending, and performing repetitive tasks for extended hours Strong communication and teamwork skills Must be 21 years of age or older Must pass background check as required by state regulations Work Environment: Physical Demands: Repetitive movements, prolonged standing, lifting up to 50 lbs Environmental Conditions: Noisy, dusty, and fast-paced production area Schedule: May include long hours, weekends, and shift-based work during peak periods
