We have an opening for a Tire Supplies SALES REPRESENTATIVE Full Time covering San Francisco, Santa Clara (San Jose), San Mateo, Alameda, Contra Costa, Santa Cruz, Monterey, and San Benito Counties area. You will be selling tire supplies which include wheel weights, valve stems, patches, hand and pneumatic tools, jacks, tire balancers, large equipment, and more. Your customers will be businesses doing tire repair - such as tire shops, trucking, agriculture, utilities, transportation, construction businesses, etc. You will be driving a supply truck that is 8 foot wide, 12 foot tall, and 24 foot long. You will visit customers 8am to 5pm, 5 days a week, Monday through Friday. You must have a good driving record, good credit, and good computer skills. If you will be training, it is a plus if you have worked in a tire shop, a tire supplies store, or other automotive business. It is a plus if you have sales experience. It is a plus if you speak Spanish. Your training pay is based on goals met per 8 hour work day, 5 days a week, training at the rate of $4,000 a month if goals are met. Servicing: • The Sales Representative is responsible for knowing which products each account sells and for keeping all products properly rotated, dusted, rebated, cleaned, and stocked at appropriate levels. • Adhere to company’s professional dress and appearance policy at all times, projecting a positive image of the company and our product line. • Perform job duties in a safe manner; considerate to themselves and to others. Job Requirements • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)preferred; one to two years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Must be 21 years of age or older. • Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record, proof of auto insurance (SR-22 is not acceptable), and own means of reliable transportation. • Prefer beverage sales and/or merchandising experience, knowledge of the local market, customer service skills, and experience in the distribution industry. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Must be self-motivated, a self-starter, and able to work with little direct supervision. • Highly organized, with a strong ability to work quickly and accurately while handling competing priorities.
