Associate Attorney (Palm Desert)

Established Palm Desert, CA based law firm with Southern California-wide practice emphasizing trust, estate and probate litigation seeks career-oriented litigation associate/senior associate, minimum 5-7 years or more experience, with skill set to match. Qualified candidates must be able to handle law and motion; discovery; court appearances; discovery and court filings; and assist in preparation for, and conduct of, trials, etc. The candidate must be able to deliver complete, ready-to-file and serve work product, on briefs, motions, discovery, and court filings of every description. Candidates must be a collegial, an industrious self-starter, and computer literate, detail oriented with strong research, writing and analytical abilities. If the candidate has these skills the candidate’s opportunity for future growth, is good. Responsibilities: • Excellent Research, writing and analytical abilities. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and assist less experienced colleagues, when necessary. Collaborate with legal support staff to efficiently manage cases. • Propound and respond to written discovery. • Attend Court hearings and orally argue in Court. • Work closely with other attorneys and clients to develop and determine case strategy.
