We are a leading residential construction company based in Kamuela on the Big Island, Hawaii. We are seeking a skilled tile-setter to join our team. We are interested in persons who have experience working on high-end custom homes primarily doing showers and floors, with an emphasis on quality details. We are also open to having persons who have served on tile-setting teams even if you are not yet the lead for these tasks. If you meet the requirement criteria below, have a positive attitude and are dependable you may be a candidate. Pay scale varies based on the position you are hired into. We offer a healthy work-life balance for all positions. Requirements: -Must currently reside on the Big Island of Hawaii and be available to start work within two weeks. -Have a reliable vehicle with current registration and insurance plus a current driver's license available daily. -Own the necessary basic tools for performing tile setting tasks. -Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects. -Strong work ethic and reliability. -Ability to communicate effectively and perform as a member of a team. -Proficiency in basic tile setting skills is preferred although apprentice experience may be considered for assistant positions. Responsibilities: -Work as part of a team on tile laying projects for both inside and outside environments. -General tasks include preparing surfaces by applying mortar or adhesive and accurately cutting and placing tile to create patterns on floors and in showers. -Key duties include operating cutting tools, ensuring proper tile alignment and maintaining a clean and safe work area. -Perform as a positive member of our professional team.
