Welder - Fabricator / Valve Tech Assembler Job Type: Full time Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour starting Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm or 7:30am - 4:00pm (30 minute lunch + paid breaks) Benefits + PTO + 401k (This is not cash job - this is paid through check/direct deposit - W2) Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour (Full time) Job description: Williams Valve is an established valve manufacturer operating for more than 100 years. We are looking for a Welder and Fabricator. Candidate must be detailed oriented to work closely with fellow team members to ensure products are functional and built correctly. Must be mechanically inclined. (LATHE MACHINE EXPERIENCE A PLUS) · Operate welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and arc welders, to fabricate and repair industrial valve components according to specifications. · Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. · Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment during welding operations. · Follow established welding procedures and quality control processes to support efficiency, productivity, and precision in welds. · Collaborate with engineering, quality control, and production teams to ensure effective coordination and meet production objectives. · Inspect and verify the quality of welds using appropriate tools, making adjustments as necessary to meet quality standards. · Contribute to maintaining production performance metrics, including adherence to schedules and quality benchmarks. · Use of pneumatic air tools, various hand tools and shop equipment · Visually and mechanically inspect pieces as instructed · Maintain a clean and safe work area · Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, including welding operations for industrial valves. · Minimum of 1 - 2 years of experience in welding, with a track record of consistent performance in a manufacturing setting. · TIG, MIG and Stick in various metals including carbon steel and stainless steel Work well on projects both independently and, with members of the team Ability to swing into other fabrication areas to help the team as needed · Excellent communication skills · Pride in workmanship · Compensation is based on skills and experience · Maintain excellent attendance · ASME 6G (a plus) · Machine knowledge a plus; Bridgeport, lathes · Union shop · 401K · Health Insurance/dental, vision · Paid time off · 8 Hour shift · Day shift 7:00am to 3:30pm · Monday to Friday We do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, genetic information, disability or because he or she is a protected veteran.
