We are currently hiring a professional, dependable evening receptionist to manage the front desk during our closing shifts. This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain a polished, composed presence in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. This is not a casual or flexible role. We are specifically seeking someone available only for closing shifts with consistent weekend availability. Responsibilities: Greet and check out clients with professionalism and warmth Arrive on time, fully prepared for the evening shift Answer phone calls using proper etiquette Place callers on hold appropriately Book appointments accurately using PC-based salon software Read and manage real-time stylist schedules Maintain a clean and professional front desk area throughout the shift Communicate clearly with stylists and management Perform all end-of-day procedures and secure the salon before leaving Bring and manage the salon key responsibly Assist with general salon cleaning as part of nightly closing duties Requirements: Must have reliable transportation for evening shifts Must be comfortable handling salon keys Must be proficient using a PC and navigating booking software Must be able to read and work from a digital schedule Must be able to stand for extended periods of time without issue Must be able to remember passwords and access codes without writing them down Must present a polished, professional appearance suitable for El Paseo Must be able to follow detailed direction and accept correction Must be comfortable handling basic cash transactions and counting change Familiarity with salon services (blowouts, updos, extensions) preferred Schedule: This is a part-time position for evening/closing shifts only.
