Rhythm section OR individual bass & drums needed for genre bent band (Brooklym)

Hey there. We're manifesting a bassist and drummer that already play together, but if that isn't what finds us, that's totally chill. So if you're a solo bassist OR a solo drummer, and the following sounds interesting to you, hit us up! Two musicians / songwriters are moving back to NYC and will be bringing on a bassist and drummer to join us and get up to speed on our existing songs, and then ideally start writing new music together as soon as we land in town. We'd love to hit the ground running after performing live regularly in Portland, OR for the past 2 years in support of our debut album Love Spells. We're ready for a change, and I miss the invigorating pulse and passion of the City. I lived there from 2007-2015. Our sound is experimental post punk / dreamy art rock / dusky doom pop but we're looking to possibly expand into other sounds and genres in the future. We're seeking skilled musicians who are genre fluid. :) We'd love eventual support from labels, booking agents, tour managers, etc but we've been fully independent for the past 2 years, and released our own album, planned our own tour, and have booked every show ourselves, designed our own show posters, etc so we're quite used to DIY vibes. We're proud of our debut record, and are open to continuing to perform some of those songs, but we're also writing new material now. Those new songs as well as the bangers from Love Spells could be performed with you, and we could hop right into writing new stuff together when we land. If you might be interested in joining up, we can chat on the phone and talk about our influences and see if our personalities align. Then perhaps you'd learn some songs off Love Spells that we want to continue performing so that when we land back in NYC we've got a leg up and can start booking shows before too long. **Serious inquiries only.
