This apartment is in the Wollaston section of Quincy, and the rent includes heat and hot water, so you would pay for the electricity (the bills we see average somewhere from high $60’s to high $80’s per month), gas for the stove (around $15 per month), phone, cable, internet, etc. Please note that rent is based on occupancy by one person – if more than one person is to occupy the apartment, a higher rent will apply. This is a good area for you if you like to bike/jog/rollerblade, etc. - the apartment is in a residential area that is close to the ocean (10-minute walk to Quincy Shore Drive) and just across the street from the building there is a park that has a baseball field along with basketball and tennis courts. The apartment is approximately a 5 to 7-minute walk to the Wollaston T. The apartment is on the top (3rd) floor of an apartment building on the east side, so it will get morning sunlight through the windows. Carpet is currently being replaced and updated pictures will be added upon completion. There are ceiling fans in both the bedroom and the living room. The living room measures 14’ x 12’ and has more than enough room for a couch or two and an entertainment center, there is a full bathroom (tub with a shower) and there is a recently renovated kitchen that comes with a refrigerator, a gas stove, and a dishwasher. There is a separation between the entrance door of the apartment and the living room/kitchen that you can fit a kitchen table or use as home office area. The bedroom is small, 8’ x 9’, and will fit a full sized bedroom set or a queen sized bed and a small bureau (but not an entire queen set). There is one closet (sliding mirror doors) 6’ wide outside the bathroom and a coat closet inside the front door of the apartment. The building itself has security locks on the doors, an intercom system, coin operated washers and dryers’ downstairs and a parking lot for off street parking. We do not allow dogs but some other pets (specifically, cats) are acceptable.
