Description

We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our growing catering business. This role requires hands-on experience preparing sushi and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen. If you do not have previous experience as a Sushi Chef or Sushi Sous Chef, please do not apply. Details: - Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 10:00 AM (no weekends!) - Location: Forest Ln. & Hwy 75, Dallas, TX - Must be able to reliably commute on your own - Korean and English-speaking manager on site Responsibilities: - Prepare all types of sushi, including hand rolls, nigiri, and sashimi - Assemble to-go sushi roll boxes with proper accompaniments and labels - Handle raw fish and other ingredients with the highest standards of safety and quality - Manage food prep tasks such as boiling rice and slicing vegetables - Monitor and maintain food stock levels - Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in all work areas, including cleaning your station at the end of each shift Requirements & Skills: - Proven experience as a Sushi Chef (required) - Strong knowledge of sushi types, cutting techniques, and rolling methods - Ability to work quickly and accurately under time pressure - Reliability and consistency, with availability to work weekday mornings only Compensation: - Part-time position - Pay: $18–20/hr (depending on experience) If interested, please reply with your resume and your weekday availability.
