Job Description: Substitute teachers carry out the daily educational program when a teacher is absent. As a substitute teacher, you will have an opportunity to amplify and develop your teaching expertise, provide a great learning experience for students and become an integral part of the school’s educational team! This position follows and teaches lesson plans, aids students in understanding subject matter, and ensures that regular classroom routines are followed. Responsibilities: Administer day to day lesson plan and provide quality instruction of classroom Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment Report any student injuries, illness, and serious discipline problems to school administration Perform additional duties as directed by school administration Qualifications: No previous experience or certification required. A Taekwondo school located in Culver City is seeking motivated instructors with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. These instructors will facilitate training in Taekwondo and other martial arts for students aged 4 and above. Applicants for this position must have great people skills, good communication and listening skills, and must be professional at all times in front of students and parents. Applicants must be willing to be dedicated to becoming a prominent member of the school. This is a part-time position, and workdays are : Monday and Friday 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm Tuesday and Thursday 4:20 pm to 7:20 pm Wednesday 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm Saturday 10:00 am to 1:00 pm Training in duties and other skills will be provided. Applicants must have studied and trained in the style of Taekwondo. Wage is negotiable depending on the skill level of applicants.
