Employees will advance to the second step at the start of the pay period after their one-year anniversary in the job classification and each milestone thereafter (3 years, 6 years, 11 years, and 17 years of service) with Step 6 being the maximum pay rate. Candidates with a valid EMT certification, will receive an additional $2.00 per hour. We are a busy commercial general contractor looking to add carpenters to our team. This person will be involved in commercial ground-up retail buildings, and tenant improvement projects. The ideal candidate will be able and willing to perform most working tasks on a commercial construction site. You must have your own vehicle and be willing travel throughout Washington State. Night and graveyard shifts may be required. This position is well suited to someone that is interested in moving into a foreman and/or superintendent role.
