Debug issues across multiple layers of the application stack. Drive code quality through unit testing and advocate test-driven development methodologies. Refactor and improve code quality, maintainability and scalability. Evaluate the adoption of new tools and technology. Interface with clients to discover, troubleshoot and resolve integration issues. REQUIREMENTS :- 6+ years of software development experience in Java/Java EE Extensive engineering experience and a proven track record in e-commerce, enterprise, high performance, large scale web technologies including cloud based APIs and protocols (REST, JSON). Thought leader, hands-on contributor, and decision maker known for solving difficult software engineering problems. Proficient in data structures, algorithms, design patterns and Object Oriented Programming. Experience with one of the major relational databases (MSSQL, Oracle, Postgres) Excellent Java and J2EE coding skills. Experience in payments or high transactional systems. Experience with Linux and other Unix-like operating systems. Excellent team player with good analytical, strategic planning and interpersonal and communication skills. Highly motivated, enthusiastic and self-starter Experience with Kafka, NoSQL database is a plus. Exposure to JBoss Fuse, Apache Camel or MuleSoft highly desired. Experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) tools Docker, ECS, S3 etc. Experience building CI/CD pipeline with maven/jenkins/code pipeline. Proficient with API design, Strong in Spring framework and understanding of Microservices. Exposure to API Gateway (Apigee) is a huge plus. Mentor junior engineers in coding, debugging, and software design best practices. Conduct industry analysis to stay informed of trends and maintain a competitive edge in product offerings. Requirements Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience developing embedded software. Strong skills in software design, programming (C/C++), scripting, and debugging. Familiarity with embedded operating systems (e.g., RTOS, Linux) and real-time system design. Knowledge of network protocols and standards (e.g., DHCP, IPv4, IPv6). Experience working with microcontrollers, processors, and hardware interfaces like UART, SPI, I2C, and GPIO. Proficiency with debugging tools like GDB, Wireshark, and terminal applications. Understanding of the software development lifecycle, including version control, unit testing, and continuous integration. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: Experience developing networking products such as access points, routers, or switches. Experience with ARM Cortex-A53/73 or similar platforms. Location: Onsite – 5 days per week (DOWNTOWN CHICAGO) We are seeking a motivated Desktop Support Specialist to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day technical support for employees, ensuring computer systems and conference room technologies run smoothly. You’ll primarily manage issues remotely from your desk but will also handle hands-on tasks such as equipment setup and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities : Provide helpdesk support to employees, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues. Set up, configure, and maintain physical computer equipment and peripherals. Perform device provisioning for new and existing users (experience preferred). Troubleshoot issues related to conference room systems, with a focus on Google Meet setups. Utilize remote management tools to resolve the majority of technical support requests. Execute basic tasks in Linux terminal for system checks and troubleshooting. Collaborate with the IT team to maintain smooth operations and escalate issues when necessary.
