Job Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Finishing Carpenter to join our elite team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in on site, custom woodworking, high-end finishing carpentry, a passion for fine craftsmanship, and a dedication to delivering top-notch results. You will be responsible for the final touches on high-quality projects, ensuring that every detail meets our exacting standards. The candidate needs to have a strong ability to work on their own. Compensation $28-$32 per hour depending on qualifications and performance. Key Responsibilities: Precision Craftsmanship: Execute detailed and intricate carpentry work, including installing trim, molding, cabinetry, and other high-end finishes with meticulous attention to detail Quality Assurance: Ensure all finishes are flawlessly executed, with a focus on quality, durability, and aesthetic appeal. Customization: Adapt to unique and custom requests, bringing creative solutions to achieve clients' visions. Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues promptly to maintain project timelines and quality standards. Leadership: Ability to self manage, enjoys working alone and is motivated to complete the job. Safety and Cleanliness: Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Qualifications: Experience: 10+ years of construction experience (high-end finishing carpentry), residential preferred. Experience with older/historic homes is a plus. Skills: Expertise in fine woodworking, trim installation, cabinetry, and custom finishes. Proficiency with hand and power tools. Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to deliver precision work and flawless finishes. Adaptability: Flexible and open to working on a variety of high-end projects with unique requirements. Professionalism: A strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality. Ability to self manage, work alone and complete the job. Materials: Must have an extensive collection of high quality tools and a presentable truck, van or trailer. Projects are located within a 20-mile radius of Wilmington, DE, and follow a M-F work schedule.
